Anyone for Ratburger?

No, we wouldn’t advocate the consumption of rodentia, but David Walliams (Comedian/Writer/X Factor judge) has been in the area filming an adaptation of his latest childrens book ‘Ratburger’. More news on that can be found here: http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2017-02-22/david-walliams-and-sheridan-smith-join-forces-to-bring-ratburger-to-tv-for-christmas

If anyone has any information or pictures from the location(s) used – please let us know!

International Women’s day!

It was International Women’s day yesterday and here at Media Brinnington we’re really interested to know how you celebrated it, so why not write in? You could even send in a picture of the female that inspires you the most.

We look forward to hearing your stories.

And remember.. “There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish.”

Street Party for HRH Queen Elizabeth II and parade.

We were there weren’t we? dabbing the rain from our brow and carrying on partying! Our King & Queen of the event, Ken and Jean – what remarkable people!

We’re still in the process of going through endless Gigabytes of photographs and video because we want to present the community with a finished product that’s also starring the local community – YOU!

So while you wait patiently for the ‘big screen’ adaptation to grace the screen at MovieLand, we present you with a tantalising teaser until the next MovieLand screening (notices of that will be on the MovieLand FB page)

We’re Still Here!

Spring may be upon us and whilst all the birds are tending to their young, we’re busy tending to the next issue. We may have been a little ‘quiet’, but like adorable freshly hatched fluffy ducklings, whilst it looks all cute and calm on the surface, underneath, the little legs are paddling like crazy.

We’re still bringing you the news, the views and reviews over the year ahead. We have a lot of things going on that we can’t wait to share with you that haven’t happened yet, but fear ye not, gentle reader, you will know in the fullness of time itself. We’re going to be packing the next newsletter end to end with good stuff. We haven’t forgotten you.
