“Connect” Monday 6th October

10am until 4pm outside First House – FREE.
[EDIT] DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS, TODAYS EVENTS ARE BEING HELD INSIDE FIRST HOUSE.

Face Painting, Cooking Demonstrations, advice on health and local services, free checks on your mobility scooters – including battery and general maintenance and general training and a prize for the best dressed mobility scooter!

Entertainment will be provided by the brilliant ‘Urban Gypsis’. There will be a general market aswell – so come along and join in the fun!

And it doesn’t end there: Over the week, several events will be taking place that you’re all invited to.

“Be Active” Tuesday 7th October:

First Stop Health Bus, 10am – 3pm Outside First House, 3pm – 6pm at Dunton Towers.

Make the most of mini health checks and lifestyle advice by the ‘Stockport Healthy’ team.

11am outside the Park Pavillion for a gentle stroll with refreshments after.

Wellbeing workshop 10am – 1pm First House. Our relaxation workshop is the ideal way to learn some new techniques or the opportunity to relax. Learn how to calm your mind and heal your body with reflexology, massage and relaxation.

Emotions are complicated things, but learning some key strategies can really help us understand our emotions better and manage them more positively. To book a place, please phone ‘Stockport Psychological Wellbeing Service’ on – 0161 480 2020.
